Home and School Association

Mission Statement
The St. Columbkille Home and School Association serves to build and strengthen the opportunites that enrich the spiritual growth and academic excellence of the students and staff of St. Columbkille Catholic School.

What is the H.S.A.?

H.S.A. is our school’s Home and School Association. We work to build a partnership between your child’s home and school.   We believe that building this partnership is the best way to enhance our children’s school experience while deepening their spirituality.  Our goal is to help our children grow in spirit, mind and body as disciples of Christ starting with a commitment to service and giving.

We have a wide variety of stewardship opportunities available through our many committees. Simply find one that interests you and fits into your life. You can lead a committee or be an active and vital steward within one.

We currently need a crossing guard coordinator and a lunchroom coordinator. Please contact Pam Roland for more information.

How do I join the HSA?

If you have a child in Saint Columbkille School, you automatically become a member of the Home and School Association.  Dues of $20 are collected at the beginning of each school year.  These dues help pay for printing the school directory and funding various activities and field trips throughout the school year.

Our Fundraising efforts help support and provide…

  • Brand new reading program, online math enrichment, new school equipment including security, audio/visual, smart boards and playground
  • Birthday Book Club, Mission Week, Science Fair and Drug Awareness Week
  • Scholarships for two graduating 8th graders
  • Field trips and learning adventures for our children
  • Help with the 2nd grade breakfast, 8th grade dinner, First Communion Quilts and many more major projects

As Stewards…

  • Teacher appreciation and support during conferences and retreats
  • Coordinate lunch room help
  • Provide art lessons to all grades through our Art Reach program
  • Help with the Book Fair
  • Coordinate Room Parents
  • Collect Box Tops and labels to redeem money for our school
  • Many more opportunities - Get involved and learn more!

Fellowship and Fun…

We plan family fun nights for the whole family including Papio Fun Park and restaurant nights.

Community Outreach…

We raise money for the needy in Sarpy County at our annual Turkey Bingo Night.

School Directory

The school directory will be distributed after school starts. Families may verify and update their information at the open house. Look for more information about the school directory soon.

You also have the opportunity to advertise in the directory.  We accept both business ads and personal ads to your children.  More information will be coming soon.

One directory is included with your HSA dues of $20.00.  Additional directories can be purchased for $5.00.

HSA Fundraiser

Through your generous support of our annual fundraiser, the H.S.A. is committed to raising funds to improve our school’s learning environment.  By working together, we are able to provide valuable new technology and innovative programs to our teachers and students. Also, all of the money raised during the fundraiser goes directly into our school! Click here for more information about our fundraiser.
